Ozempic & Your Wellness Journey: Short-Term

Support, Long-Term Lifestyle Change

Ozempic (semaglutide) can be a useful short-term tool for weight management, but it’snot a magic solution. It mimics a natural hormone (GLP-1) to help reduce appetite, improve blood sugar control, andsupport weight loss.

Potential Side Effects

Like any medication, Ozempic carries risks, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, gallbladder issues, and—in rare cases—pancreatitis. Always work closely with your healthcare provider.

Why I Take a Different Approach

In my coaching and therapy practice, I help clients rebuild their wellness habits while on or considering Ozempic. For example, several pre-bariatric clients I’ve worked with people who chose to opt out of surgery after just six weeks of life coaching/therapy with me . They were able to achieve weight loss and improved well-being when they changed their overall lifestyle.

The Goal: Sustainable Health

If you choose to use medication to lose weight, my focus is to help you to use medications as a bridge while creating lifestyle habits that keep the weight off naturally. Together, we work on nutrition, movement, mindset, and self-care so you feel confident and in control even after discontinuing Ozempic.
